Hello Fitness hits the cover of Politiken
June 1st, 2008
Søren Randløv Petersen, CEO & Chief Motivator, is really getting some well deserved attention with his new and awesome fitness concept Hello Fitness.
This time it’s one of Denmark’s biggest newspapers - Politiken - that brings a 3 page story on why Hello Fitness is a good and sound alternative to the oh so sensationally uninspiring indoor fitness centers.
Check out the full online version of the story here.
Sponsorhelp.com - a comeback kid?
May 29th, 2008
Launched this company back in 2000 with the infamous Kjærulf Pedersen brothers - scary yet lovable chaps.
We haven’t touched it in 6-7 years. It’s just been living there on the Internet collecting dust and a little attention it seems attention:
Hey Wulff,
Sponsorhelp made 9 new customers this month and 150 sign-ups … maybe we should dust it off and re-launch in a more modern style - open and free!?
What do you think?
Cheers, KP
I still think Sponsorhelp.com could be magic - with the right team and strategy … and the strategy could just be free(conomics)?
[…] when the cost of serving a single customer is trending to zero, smart companies will charge nothing. Today, the disrupter’s motto is “Be the first to give away what others charge for”. If you listen to the technology, it makes sense […]
[…] because it is so cheap to offer digital services online, it doesn’t matter if 99% of your customers are using the free version of your services so long as 1% are paying for the “premium version”. After all, 1% of a big number can also be a big number […]

Hello Fitness hits the cover of Børsen
April 8th, 2008
Just one week old and already a cover story (April 3rd, 2008) on Børsen (Denmark’s biggest business newspaper). Congratulations Søren - that’s really cool!
I really think that Søren Randløv - Founder & Chief Motivator - of Hello Fitness is on to something really interesting (and semi-disrupting!!!) in an industry lacking some real innovation e.g. read this bloggers analysis on the fitness industry!
Danish Top Business Talents 2008 - follow up.
March 30th, 2008
I nominated six guys for the BNY business talent competition a while back (read the nomination here). I’m happy that two of the six were selected. I’m sure that some of the other four will win next year - especially Søren Randløv with his brand new fitness concept Hello Fitness will “win” next year … I’m sure of that.
Congratulations to Kim Guldstad and Anders Lau Nielsen - both awesome business talents! (Kim is even beginning to show some really promising entrepreneurship with www.findbilsyn.dk - a small niche start-up that’s really beginning to heat up!).

Internet TV solutions?
March 15th, 2008
I’m working with Mikael and Anders (plus a few other clever helpers) on a brand new website for Wulffmorgenthaler. Part of the website is some “Internet TV” features and for this I’ve found a few plug n’ play solutions that seem cool - but I don’t know which to choose?

Read this: “Made to Stick”
February 21st, 2008

I have read “Made to Stick” by Chip and Dan Heath and it’s an amazing little book. Go buy it now, read it and grow your business much faster the day after you’ve finished it! Seriously!
The book outlines 6 principles that will help make your business in general and communication in particular really really sticky:
- Simple... find the core… the one true thing.
- Unexpected… you need to surprise people to get their attention in the first place.
- Concrete… drop the intellectual, academic stuff straight away and explain yourself… understanding drives action.
- Credible… credibility (various forms) will let people believe.
- Emotional… it’s not enough to believe… people have to ALSO care about you.
- Stories… getting people to act isn’t about facts and figures, it’s about great storytelling.
I know that Oscar is also pretty enthusiastic about it and he’s fairly hard to impress…

Cool multi-purpose-shop “Magma” in London (and online)
February 9th, 2008

For anyone with a serious interest in magazines and cool/weird/funny design objects, Magma in London is something of a Mecca. Well, not so much “just magazines” but more a thriving micro-industry of printed matter (quote from wallpaper magazine).
Magma is somewhere where a quick visit undoubtedly turns into a whole afternoon, ending-up with a mortgage-sized purchase of magazines from around the globe.
They also have a cool website … quite an inspiration.
2008 predictions (all lists included)
February 1st, 2008
Here’s a list including all the other lists predicting what to expect from 2008
http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/2008_web_predictions.php
One has already come true:
“Microsoft will become more aggresive and buy many popular companies at once (remember Ballmer’s quote). Candidates include SixApart, Technorati.”
Emre Sokullu, Feature Writer, ReadWriteWeb
Microsoft has just launched an audacious $44.6bn bid for internet rival Yahoo in a deal that would create an online advertising powerhouse to rival market leader Google. That’s rather aggressive.
