Bwin and Get In™ have joined forces for the upcoming World Cup in SA. The partnership will see Bwin integrate the gaming content of Copenhagen-based Sports Predictions ApS on the win.com platform.
The aim of the partnership is to create a new experience for bettors during the World Cup 2010, in which they can prepare for the matches with detailed stats and mathematical predictions both before and during matches. Bettors will be able to view live updated positional info and predictions based on the events as they happen.
The World Cup will also see the launch of Pitch Betting – a brand new offering from Sports Predictions that can be described as ‘football meets roulette’. Bettors will stake money on where events will take place on the field – through a grid, with odds changing by the second as you follow the action as it unfolds.
Pitch Betting will launch on the win.com website in a funny money version.
Sports Predictions was founded by former Saxo Bank employees with financial support from investors Klaus Lovgreen (TradeShift, Wordy, Hello Messenger) and Morten E. Wulff (TraceWorks, Wordy, Wulffmorgenthaler etc.).
Sports Predictions is the software company behind Get In, a football prediction and analysis tool, and Pitch Betting, a patented live gaming solution designed to boost the number of bets during matches.
