I heard some great things of reboot last year. I think it was sold out pretty quickly. This year I’ll check it out and I’m actually looking forward to it.

I sure hope it’s more interesting than back in 2002 (when I was one of the speakers :).

So who’s going?

    Absolutely! Reboot 10 will be my fourth Reboot. I didn’t attend the pre-break Reboots, so I can’t really say if this year will be better. But I will say that the previous three year’s Reboots have been absolutely and positively inspiring. Interesting themes, talks and conversations. And time for plenty of social interaction and plain old fun. One of the highlights of the year in my calendar. Now whether this is a credit to Reboot or a debit to my calendar is up for debate… :-D

    I’ll be there too. Attended Reboot since the very first Reboot back in 1998, when it was “a day off for the internet workers”!
    Reboot has changed a lot since then and have found a great format by 2006 and since …
    Looking forward to meet some of the virtual friends in real life - again.

    pretty wicked if you spoke in 2002 which was one big openspace session with rheingold and doctorow as the only speakers ;). don’t know if you’re thinking of the legendary reboot5 with all the people who shaped the web the next 4 years…

    reboot has changed every year and hopefully keeps getting improvements and bug fixes. every year is hopefully the best it can be - in hindsight i’m even more proud of the reboot’s during the bubble since the talks/speakers we’re extremely “pure” considering how bublish it could’ve been.

    @Thomas Madsen-Mygdal

    Hey! You should be proud!

    Well, I think it was somewhere around 2002 - the year I started TraceWorks. I did a company presentation in a kind of “most likely to achieve” side show alongside e-conomic and collaborate, and we didn’t win - collaborate did (they still exist?.

    Anyhoo, I was a little too one-sided in comment on reboot 200X > it’s not that it wasn’t fun at all; I listened to many cool people like Jason Fried who had some great ideas on e.g. spatial web design etc., it’s just I hoped for more “insane energy, entrepreneurial nativity, the vulgar - yet beautiful - smell of money, and a lot of ridiculous happiness” - some of the classic characteristics represented by “the bubble” - the tech happening I missed by just a year.

    I don’t really know why I hoped for this since VC/TECH etc. was suffering from a great depression. I’m the fool.

    Looking forward to this years Reboot.
