Adserving for publishers

May 27th, 2008

Finally there’s some of grass root level innovation appearing in the “for publisher” ad industry (TraceWorks is focusing on “for advertisers”, meaning a lot of innovation in this space is a matter of course :).

So if you’re a web publisher and want to work with ads on your website (not using Google) then some of these technologies might come in handy: Adroll, LiveRail, Adregate, and Openx.

The first 3 are small, simple, and beautiful web apps - while Openx is mostly “beautiful” because it’s free and open source (read it’s big and complex - but many just love that).

    Hello Wulff

    Thanks for mentioning us.

In the true open source tradition OpenX is very flexible which is probably why so many publishers use us (>30k publishers across >100l websites) but as a result can seem a little complex at the start… don’t let that put you off :-)

    cheers,
