Attending reboot10 - my second reboot
May 29th, 2008
I heard some great things of reboot last year. I think it was sold out pretty quickly. This year I’ll check it out and I’m actually looking forward to it.
I sure hope it’s more interesting than back in 2002 (when I was one of the speakers :).
So who’s going?
Sponsorhelp.com - a comeback kid?
May 29th, 2008
Launched this company back in 2000 with the infamous Kjærulf Pedersen brothers - scary yet lovable chaps.
We haven’t touched it in 6-7 years. It’s just been living there on the Internet collecting dust and a little attention it seems attention:
Hey Wulff,
Sponsorhelp made 9 new customers this month and 150 sign-ups … maybe we should dust it off and re-launch in a more modern style - open and free!?
What do you think?
Cheers, KP
I still think Sponsorhelp.com could be magic - with the right team and strategy … and the strategy could just be free(conomics)?
[…] when the cost of serving a single customer is trending to zero, smart companies will charge nothing. Today, the disrupter’s motto is “Be the first to give away what others charge for”. If you listen to the technology, it makes sense […]
[…] because it is so cheap to offer digital services online, it doesn’t matter if 99% of your customers are using the free version of your services so long as 1% are paying for the “premium version”. After all, 1% of a big number can also be a big number […]

Adserving for publishers
May 27th, 2008
Finally there’s some of grass root level innovation appearing in the “for publisher” ad industry (TraceWorks is focusing on “for advertisers”, meaning a lot of innovation in this space is a matter of course :).
So if you’re a web publisher and want to work with ads on your website (not using Google) then some of these technologies might come in handy: Adroll, LiveRail, Adregate, and Openx.
The first 3 are small, simple, and beautiful web apps - while Openx is mostly “beautiful” because it’s free and open source (read it’s big and complex - but many just love that).
I’m attending Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco - again
May 26th, 2008
I went to the Web 2.0 Summit last year and it was awesome. Sometimes reading blogs and listening to pod casts just isn’t enough. This conference really exceeded my expectations last year and I hope it will do so again this year.
At this time the list of speakers include Marc Andreessen of Ning, Marc Benioff of Salesforce, and Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook.
The conference is by invitation only … but try to request an invitation - you might get lucky.
wulff 2.0
May 22nd, 2008
My “girlfriend” shot this picture: It’s me with my daughter calling up MOTHER to tell her that Silvia just accepted my marriage proposal … well, first she hesitated but then I promised to do the dishes.
I’m actually exploding with joy - though the picture is pretty secretive about that. I think we’ll be getting married next summer. And yes, this means that planet earth will soon count one more Mrs. Wulff - weird.
So this is a picture of me Morten E. Wulff, the son of Annette Wulff & Eigil E. Wulff, on the road to becoming an adult with family and lots of responsibility e.g. notice my new more conservative hairstyle, the bluuuue shirt, the rather serious facial expression … and - oh yes - sockless baby Fiona.
